Costa Rica hospital promotes services

A Costa Rican hospital which specialises in medical tourism has launched a new website to provide patients with detailed information on its services.

The Clinica Biblica Hospital, located in the capital San Jose, is one of the country's most popular destinations for patients seeking treatment abroad, largely as a result of its high quality medical services, personalised attention and affordable prices.

Lorena Morera, the hospital's guest services director, said that the hospital had long been a favourite with patients from the USA, Canada and Europe, who generally come to have cosmetic surgery, obesity surgery, cardiovascular treatment or eye surgery .

"In other cases, patients are healthy but they come to Costa Rica for a vacation and have their annual medical check up," she revealed.

"In all cases, we have always made sure our guests receive a personalised service that will fit their particular needs. So our new website is a natural step towards evolving our high quality service, with all the necessary tips and tools that potential guests require before making a decision of travelling to Costa Rica for a medical procedure."

Ms Morera added that all of the hospital's patients receive "the most appropriate care delivered by knowledgeable, compassionate physicians who are among the leaders in their respective fields".
