What are the top medical tourism destinations for fertility treatments?

Many couples seeking IVF and other fertility treatments are increasingly looking to overseas clinics for their fertility treatments. Quite often, IVF treatment abroad can be cheaper than in the UK, and many medical tourism destinations have high success rates.

Research carried out by Treatment Abroad has shown European countries are the most popular destinations for UK patients enquiring about fertility treatment abroad. The Treatment Abroad survey analysed enquiries to the website in the first 6 months of 2017 and with over 600 enquiries European countries top the list.

Further analysis shows Spain to be the most popular country with over 200 enquiries, but with Greece not far behind. The Czech Republic has proved to be a new destination of choice with over 140 patients enquiring about treatment in the country, followed by nearly 60 enquiries for Cyprus. Outside of Europe Turkey & India are proving to be popular with nearly 75 enquiries between the two countries.
