I think treatment at Montrose Manor is a once in a lifetime experience.

I really learnt a lot about myself. I learnt that if I don’t change my behaviour or express my feelings more, I’ll be stuck in old behavior patterns and it will all go downhill again.  No one will understand you if you keep your feelings inside yourself.

At Montrose I learnt how to better express myself but it’ll only work if you’re open to feedback. Having a good counselor, like I did, is very important because sometimes you’re not aware of some behaviours. The family sessions were very helpful and important for an overall understanding.

Montrose is a safe place to recover and guided me through my difficulties. If it was possible I would have stayed longer.

For me Montrose taught me acceptance of living with Anorexia, to be aware of difficulties/struggles, but most important of all, how to act when you’re struggling. I just want to say Thank You for all the effort you put into my therapy.
