Certification of European Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki, Greece

Congratulations to European Interbalkan Medical Center to its successful Temos certification for the “Quality in International Patient Care” program. European Interbalkan Medical Center is the second hospital of Athens Medical Group certified by Temos International for its high medical and non-medical services.

A team of three assessors from Germany and Greece visited the hospital with its total area of 52.000 m² and over 350 beds for three days. They found a well managed hospital with kind, considerate and experienced staff, a kind hospitality, good facilities, excellent food and a trustful level of quality in medical treatment, technical equipment and nursing.

The tertiary care hospital was founded in 2000 and is located in Northern Greece, Thessaloniki. Its medical spectrum covers emergencies, outpatient clinics, preventive check-up, the only private oncology center providing comprehensive healthcare services to cancer patients in northern Greece in a co-operation with the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard’s Medical School for diagnosis and therapy, a pediatric center with a fully equipped NICU connected to the gynecology department, and many more units.
