About Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness

Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness is India's first and only chain of luxury rehabilitation centres. With its own carefully constructed treatment programme, individually focussed care and 1:1 doctor/counsellor to client ratio, it is considered the best rehab centre in India for the treatment of addictions, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.

Veda's rehab centres are restricted to just five clients. There are currently three in India (Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore) and two more opening soon. The centres take in voluntary admissions and permit the use of mobile phones, laptops and work from home while in recovery.Visiting family stays and accompanying pets are also allowed.

An expert team

The Veda centres in India are staffed by an expert team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, a general physician, a homeopathic physician, an Ayurvedic doctor, a dietician and nutritionist, a yoga and mindfulness expert and Enso, the resident support dog.

Effective treatment

Veda has developed its own proprietary treatment programme which has Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) at its core, supported by nutrition-based rejuvenation, yoga, meditation, mindfulness and evidence-based alternative healing therapies, including Reiki and expressive arts therapy.

DBT is primarily a skills training therapy consisting of problem solving through behaviour chain analysis and skill building across four major domains: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. The technique has been found to be most effective for people with substance use disorders, major depressive disorders and borderline personality disorders.

Treatment packages

Basic package includes:

1 regular private room, all meals, 2 psychiatrist consultations, 1 nutritionist consultation, talking therapies, group therapies (if needed), meditation, yoga, psychoeducation, two follow-up sessions post discharge.

VIP package includes:

Airport pickup and drop off, choice of room, all meals, up to 4 psychiatrist consultations, up to 2 nutritionist consultations, talking therapies, group therapies (if needed), meditation, yoga, psychoeducation, mindfulness, art therapy, music therapy, sound healing, Reiki, dedicated butler/help, six follow-up sessions post discharge.

Both packages do not include any medications or blood tests/laboratory testing.
