World’s top hospitals and clinics for medical tourists revealed –  as selected by patients helps patients with dental phobia

30-Jan-2015

Treatment Abroad Patients’ Choice 2015 announced

Seven international hospitals, clinics and medical travel agencies are celebrating this week having been rated as the Treatment Abroad ‘Patients’ Choice’ for 2015.

The healthcare facilities have been given the accolade after scoring the highest satisfaction ratings by patients out of the 2,498 hospitals, clinics and medical travel agencies around the world listed on medical tourism guide Treatment Abroad (www.TreatmentAbroad.com). To appear on the list, establishments have to have achieved an overall patient rating of 4.3 or higher out of 5 during 2014 in the patient reviews section of the site.

The 2015 ‘Patients’ Choice’ hospitals and clinics (with their average score out of 5) are:

The only clinic to appear both last year and this year is Revitalize in Turkey, with all others making their debut as ‘Patients’ Choice’ clinics.

The Patients’ Choice Award recognises those hospitals, clinics and medical travel agencies that deliver excellent customer care and a great patient experience, being based on the average patient ratings given during the review process. Note that reviews are left by patients from around the world, not just by those travelling from the UK.

Keith Pollard, Managing Director of Intuition Communications, publishers of Treatment Abroad says the Patients’ Choice recognition is of huge importance to those listed:

“There is no more important measure to patients than how other patients rate a medical establishment, so by gaining the recognition of being a ‘Patients’ Choice’ hospital clinic or travel agency, it is clear that these establishments ‘go the extra mile’ for patients, offering superb customer care.  Patient care (and the resulting positive reviews) is now one of the best ways for private hospitals and clinics to stand out from their competitors, especially as they often offer very similar treatments and procedures.

“Awards such as Patients’ Choice status are an important part of driving up standards of patient care, as all hospitals and clinics need to aim to be in our top six next year.”
