Losing your teeth is a terrifying experience, and the idea of wearing a removable denture added to the utter desolation I felt. The cost of an implanted denture in the UK was prohibitive, so I started exploring overseas for an alternative solution. The idea of going abroad was daunting since I had never been to Romania, visited the clinic, met the doctors, or knew anyone who had.
