The Taj Medical Group also arranged the flights, visas and accommodation.

Every member of the team was sincere in making sure I felt comfortable, the clinical and nursing standards were exceptional and Dr. Gulati and his team gave me a dedicated professional and personal service. I stayed in the hospital for 12 days and all aspects of care were first class including cleanliness, hygiene, dietary and the physiotherapy” she said.

In the UK Ms Holman had been quoted £6,000 for knee arthroscopy surgery but in India she paid just £1,994.
