Shocked by the prohibitively high cost of implant treatment in the UK and Europe, Richard Ward-Walker, aged 67, was delighted with the prompt and efficient service he received at Dental Creations in Mumbai. "Deciding on dental treatment in India was arrived at, after having dental advice from several dentists in the UK and other European dental practices. My NHS dentist quoted me £20,000 for 5 upper and 5 lower implants but I required a full set top and bottom. Some of the other practices I contacted did not even reply to emails or phone calls. Those that did were a little cheaper.

Dr Amol Pradhan responded within minutes to my enquiry and answered all my initial questions in detail, displaying a full in-depth knowledge of the procedures and mechanics of the implants.

I sent a panoramic x-ray of my jaw and teeth which enabled Dr. Pradhan to give me specific advice and his quotation for all the work, including any extra costs for a possible bone implant procedure.

The idea of traveling to India was a little daunting in the beginning but I was happy with the knowledge of the doctor and happy at the cost of the treatment which was half of the cheapest quotes from UK & Europe and less than half of my UK dentist even including the travelling costs.

In total my dental health condition required 3 visits. Flying direct from Heathrow on a BA flight was the best for me.

Mumbai is friendly and inviting not to mention vibrant. I look at the whole experience as three holidays and seeing the dentist for a few days whilst there. On the second trip we extended our stay by an extra week and spent that time in Goa. Well worth the trip.

Now I have a full smile and able to chomp through raw carrots and apples, something not possible for a few years prior.
