To give myself another chance in life, I signed up for a stay at Nova Vida Recovery Center in Portugal. I had no expectations but to meet some professionals who could help me deal with my dreadful dependency. It turned out to be one of the major decisions, and I have to admit: the best I have ever made in my life. The Nova Vida team consists of highly professional therapists, consultants, and nurses who not only do a more than perfect job but are true gems when it comes to humanity and kindness. You will immediately feel in the right hands. The proactive methods exercised at the rehab center not only helped me to stay abstinent and deal with my disease but revealed a completely different perspective on this world for me. My stay was a real eye-opener and changed so much in my life to the positive! I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the chance to spend time at Nova Vida. My impression of the people working in the center was that they really do their work because they are convinced they can help, and they couldn’t be more passionate in doing it. I am absolutely convinced and would recommend Nova Vida to everybody looking for help. As I am not a native English speaker, I first had some doubts if I would understand everything, but it turned out to be no problem at all. The team and patients are international and very patient if your language skills aren’t as good as you would like them to be. Don’t hesitate to contact the center; I am sure you will be warmly welcomed. Give yourself a chance; you are worth it!
