Writing this because I don’t want women to be distracted by some of the negative feedback. What you need to understand is that it is half science, half art. The clinic’s professional, Dr. Bernard, worked for me. Yes, the clinic environment, when you feel almost like on an embryo production line, is pretty scary, and I feel sorry for doctors that they have to deal with that many patients. But on the other hand, that is great for the experience and, therefore, the result – and that’s what matters. I had three unsuccessful IVFs in Austria in Innsbruck. Everything was nice there, no crowds, very attentive personnel, etc., but no result. So if it does not work in one place, I encourage you to a) ask if the doctor is going to change anything in the stimulation protocol and b) if the answer is yes – go to another place. Maybe the vision of the other doctor is right for you, like Dr. Bernard’s concept worked for me! I am 42, by the way, and the stimulation in Austria I did being 40 and 41, somewhat younger.
