Review of Dr Alpaslan Caliskan: Pelvic Floor Surgery by Fatma. Treatment date: over 12 months

I am 42 years old, a mother of two, and live in Istanbul. I had been suffering from uterine prolapse for five years, and my quality of life had significantly deteriorated. The gynecologists I visited told me I needed surgery but also said I shouldn’t lift anything heavier than three kilograms for the rest of my life after the surgery. I was very upset by this situation. I started researching, and while browsing the internet, I came across Dr. Alpaslan Çalışkan. I realized he had been working in this field for many years and was highly experienced and trustworthy. While reading the thoughts of his previous patients, I thought to myself, “This is the doctor I’m looking for,” and I decided to have the surgery. I messaged Dr. Alpaslan, and he kindly responded. We set a surgery date, and I traveled from Istanbul to Denizli’s private Odak Hospital. My admission was completed that day, and the next day, I had the surgery. It went smoothly, and I stayed in the hospital for three days. It has been 55 days since my surgery (August 17, 2023). The recovery process can vary from person to person, as everyone’s body and healing pace are different. My pain lasted about a month but was never unbearable and was manageable with painkillers. I still have occasional discomfort, but Dr. Bey said the recovery process would take three months, so I hope to feel even better once that period is over. The large mass in my uterus that I could feel is now completely gone, and none of my organs, tissues, or uterus were removed in the process. Dr. Alpaslan is a blessing. I cannot thank him and his team enough.
