Review of HC Fertility Center by HRK. Treatment date: over 12 months
We were in Marbella on vacation from the US. We have been considering IVF for some time and heard good things about the clinics in Spain. We decided to investigate because the price is considerably less than at home. We read reviews on HC Fertility and contacted them for a consultation. Fiona was quick to respond, which we appreciated. She was professional, helpful, and spoke good English. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Garcia was the exact opposite. He was 30 minutes late for our consultation. We were walking out the door when the nurse came for us. This did not give us a good impression of the facility. Fiona had told us that the Dr. spoke good English. This was not the case. Several times he told us that he couldn’t understand what we were saying. The nurse accompanying him spoke no English as well. The consultation with the doctor was very uncomfortable and awkward. We left feeling like HC Fertility would be a drastic step down from the medical facilities in the US. We would not recommend this clinic to English-speaking tourists. The 150 euro charge for a 30-minute poor meeting with no ultrasound was a waste of time and money. We thought it was strange that there weren’t a lot of reviews online, and now we know why.
