Review of Bumrungrad International Hospital by Justin. Treatment date: over 12 months

Three months ago, I had rhinoplasty performed at Bumrungrad International Hospital by Dr. Nond. After exchanging emails for a few months, I arrived in Bangkok. During my consultation the next day, I discussed my desired results and had photos taken. It is advisable for patients to clearly communicate their expectations, use Photoshop to experiment, and bring a reference image. Following the consultation, I paid 140,000 baht and underwent a blood test for an additional cost. The surgery was scheduled the next day. I checked into my spacious private room at 3 pm, equipped with modern facilities like an LCD TV and a kitchen. At 5 pm, the doctor briefly visited me, and by 6 pm, I was taken to the surgery area. The operating room was clean, with new equipment and my photos displayed on a screen. I woke up at midnight feeling minimal pain and discomfort, followed by ten hours of intermittent sleep due to morphine. Post-surgery, I noticed swelling and bruising, which gradually improved. Despite concerns about residual swelling and a hump on my nose, the overall outcome after 3 months is positive. Bumrungrad is a top-notch medical facility, offering Western standards of care. Clear communication with your surgeon is crucial for a satisfactory outcome.
