Review of New Look Holiday by Worth it. Treatment date: over 12 months
Despite the language barrier at times during treatment in Slovakia, the nurses, surgeon, and Newlook staff couldn’t do more to ensure I understood each stage of the operation, the pre-op tests, the care during hospital and the aftercare. There were lifts from and to the airport, to appointments, and check-ins to see how things were. Very friendly, approachable, the treatment’s outcome was great just as expected. Thought I would be more frightened and apprehensive but felt calm and reassured by Ivan and the staff; the aftereffects were not as bad as expected. Some bruising, stiffness, discomfort, especially in core muscles rather than the incision itself… The support bandage isn’t the most comfortable but something I got used to quickly, feeling stronger and more mobile each day. Will be happy to sleep on my stomach again in a few weeks! Anyone considering this surgery needs to be prepared for physical limitations post-surgery and the commitment to appropriate self-care. It’s not a decision to take lightly, but if done for the right reasons, Newlook will provide excellent care. Healing seems quicker than average; no complications experienced.
