Having my rhinoplasty in Turkey was a unique experience. The airport transfer was efficient, and the hospital itself was luxurious. The doctor and his team were always available for questions and support both before and after the operation. In the initial post-op days, I mainly focused on resting and eating, but later, exploring the city became enjoyable. Istanbul had others who had undergone surgery, so there was no uncomfortable staring. I felt liberated, unlike in the UK where being recognized could have been awkward. For anyone hesitant about getting treatment abroad, I would actually recommend it for its many advantages over getting it done at home.
