Went to Cozumel for venoplasty treatment for ALS. Typically, this is a treatment for MS not ALS, but after a lot of thought and research, and little to gain and nothing to lose, we decided to do it. Our choice was made easy by the fact that Dr. Moguel, who performed the procedure, had done over 800 operations. The doctor and staff were excellent. The clinic is as good as anything in Canada. The procedure went well with benefits that have lasted and some that didn’t. We are considering doing the procedure again, and we will go back to Cozumel and Dr. Moguel (his house is literally surrounded by the hospital).
