I followed my gut instinct by deciding to have my surgery in India. People kept asking, ‘Why India?’ I just felt more confident that I am going to do it. After talking to Dr. Ruchika, I relaxed; she addressed all my fears and concerns. Of course, my friends and family still had fears and doubts. Everything went smoothly from the meet and greet to being dropped back at the airport. The operation went very well. All doctors, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team were very courteous and diligent in their field of expertise. I never felt any fear or doubts while under their care. Every procedure was explained professionally and with transparency, so I relaxed. I am back home, healing nicely, with no complications whatsoever.
