I had to give up driving as my eyes frequently went out of focus due to cataracts. Even walking was better with my head down to prevent dizziness. Pleasure was being eroded as a visual person, wearing glasses for 40 years. As a pensioner, I thought I couldn’t afford IOL. Praga Medica appeared during an internet search. Kate?ina was incredibly helpful, answering questions and guiding me through the process. Pre-medical checks were done with my GP. I arranged flights and used Airbnb for affordable accommodation. The total cost was £1800. Reception and surgery preparations were impressive, with clear instructions, modern equipment, and kind consultations. Surgery proceeded smoothly with utmost kindness and skill from the surgeon and team. The first eye was a miracle, clear vision the next day after both eyes were operated on. My artist grandmother would have been thrilled to have the same outcome. I no longer need glasses and see clearly.
