Review of Bumrungrad International Hospital by Pascal. Treatment date: over 12 months

I made an appointment because one cannot get a yellow fever vaccine like everywhere else in the world. Thailand requires a consultation with an infectious disease specialist. My appointment was at 14:15. At 15:00, I got to see the specialist. I asked if this vaccination procedure was specific to Thailand or the hospital; “I don’t know,” he says! At 15:15, the nurse asks me to go to the cashier and pay. Meanwhile, I have received no service! I tell the nurse I’ll settle the bill once I get the service. She frowns and looks annoyed. Then the nurse asks me to wait because the vaccine is not at the clinic yet despite having booked an appointment. So no respect for appointments, doctors can’t answer basic questions, nurses push clients to pay before receiving services, and despite booking in advance, I had to waste 3 hours for something that should have taken 15 minutes. Bumrungrad is a horribly overpriced hospital with terrible service. Go to their competitors – BNH or Samitivej. I’ll never set foot in this hospital again!!!
