I would like to thank all the staff at the clinic. From the initial email communication to the aftercare, they were all brilliant. All queries were answered promptly and in detail. Although I was naturally apprehensive about not only the surgery but traveling abroad to receive it, I needn’t have been. As soon as I arrived at the clinic, I realized things would be fine. The place is spotless! Although you may have to wait a while to have your consultation, you are sitting with other people who are either having or have had surgery. This, along with the friendly staff, made me feel welcome and relaxed. Another plus point is the private rooms that you are given. It was nice just to have privacy to reflect and relax before surgery. The surgery itself went great, and the aftercare provided by the nurses was second to none. I was a bit sore afterwards, which is to be expected, but no problems and was able to fly home 2 days later. As for the location, it is great. The town itself is a beautiful little place, and there are some lovely bars and restaurants. I stayed in a hotel the night prior to surgery but then opted for the clinic’s accommodation for the next night. This is basic and in a block of flats, but it was clean and tidy – I would, however, choose to stay in a hotel for the whole duration if I ever went back again for surgery. But great if you are on a limited budget. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and I would be more than happy to recommend the clinic for surgery.
