Where to start.. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably extremely anxious about deciding whether to get treatment abroad. The thought can be daunting; I totally understand! Surgery can be an extremely unnerving thought, especially far away from home. HOWEVER – if you decide to go through with it, I would wholeheartedly recommend Revitalize. I can’t believe how at ease I felt from the moment I was picked up from the airport by the lovely driver to the days after recovering from my surgery. The villa is homely, and the team (Teona, Nana, and others) cannot do enough for you. Feeling tired and want to rest in your room undisturbed? Fine. Feeling a bit better and fancy a chat? Fine. Want to do a spot of shopping at the bazaar? Fine. It really can be whatever you want it to be. Everybody is so easy-going and understanding, really more like a family. I thought the food was healthy and yummy (all homemade apart from one night when we ordered pizza yum). In terms of my surgery, I am extremely happy with my results, and they continue to improve. Dr. Cenk has a sense of confidence that makes you feel at ease in his hands and is extremely reassuring. I like that he lays on the table the risks, etc., and does not force you into anything – very transparent. I have also read in other reviews that Dr. Cenk did not actually go through with certain planned procedures on meeting the patient – actually a sign of good practice! Nothing worse than a money-grabbing company that has no interest in the possibility of achieving the results you actually want and isn’t concerned with the outcome! I have to add that the UK coordinator Jackie was extremely helpful every step of the way, answering all my questions, and continues to stay in contact and provide follow-up information. Nothing is too much trouble. I am already planning my trip back! You won’t regret it…
