Review of HairPalace Hair Transplant Clinic by Njco74. Treatment date: over 12 months
Sorry, this will be long but I need to explain what happened to me. I had two transplants at The HairPalace, one in 2015 and one more recently completed just a week ago. The service and accommodation here are very good, and the clinic is pristine. I have been attended to both times to the highest standards. However, I would have liked to say the same about the outcome of my first transplant, which was very poor. At the time, I opted for the highest package (6000 hairs) and based on what I selected, the surgeon advised to focus on the frontal and the vertex area as the middle part still had some of my hair. She said that I would have had very good density, especially in the front. Unfortunately, nearly two years later, the outcome of the front (4500 hairs) and the Vertex (1600) was very poor. So poor that I ended up shaving most of the time. The problems started immediately from week one after posting my post-care pictures; the surgeon decided to void my guarantee because there were missing grafts, without even asking why. It was only after taking several photos side by side and using Adobe to pinpoint the area that I managed to prove that some of the hairs were never implanted. The owner offered to replace 1500 hairs, and here I am again in HairPalace for my second and last procedure, opting for another 2000 hairs meaning 9500 hairs in total. Day one of my second surgery, the new surgeon focused on my vertex again, and immediately after the surgery, I realized why my first procedure failed. The cause was that my first surgery was very bloody; I was sent out without being cleaned properly, resulting in a lot of blood and crusts on my head, causing my hair to die. I expressed my concerns to the new surgeon, suggesting they focus on fixing my hair rather than just adding more hairs. I proposed to HairPalace to try and fix my problem, but there was no collaboration, so I ended up with the offer to put my 9500 implant on their ‘before and after photos,’ challenging how many people would want to have an implant there. My overall outcome is a disaster, not due to any faults of mine but because of an incompetent first surgeon. If I could rewind time, I would rather take out a £20K loan and get it done properly.
