Review of Revitalize In Turkey by moggie. Treatment date: over 12 months
I was booked for my operation on the 3rd of September. I arrived in Turkey late on the 1st of Sept, at about 1 am, so technically the 2nd of Sept. I was met by the company driver at the airport and taken directly to the apartments. The driver didn’t really speak much English, but he was full of smiles. The apartment room was lovely, roomy, and spotlessly clean. On Sunday, I was left to do whatever I wished, so I took a walk down to the harbour, about a 20-minute walk. On Monday, I was picked up from the apartment around 11 am and driven to the clinic where I met Dr. Cenk. He discussed my operation at length, marked me up, and then took me directly to the hospital. There, I was taken to a private room and met with Tuba, who was lovely and friendly. After sorting out consent forms and payment, I had blood tests and was taken to the theatre. The surgery was scheduled for 3 pm, and I came out at 7 pm. When I woke up, I felt heaviness in my chest but no pain. Dr. Cenk later checked on me, confirming the success of the operation. During recovery, Tuba stayed by my side and provided comfort. I was monitored closely, given pain medication, and had my dressings changed daily. The hospital food was good. After a few days, I returned to the apartment for further rest and follow-up care. Though bored due to limited entertainment and isolation, the overall experience was positive. Some suggestions I have for the company are to provide outdoor seating areas at accommodations and facilitate interactions among guests to reduce feelings of loneliness. Nearly two weeks post-op, I am pain-free and back to sleeping in my own bed. I would definitely choose this company again.
