Choosing KCM Clinic for my gastric sleeve surgery was truly the best decision I have ever made and money very well spent. After 2 1/2 years of waiting at the Homerton and feeling humiliated at every appointment due to not having lost weight, I was ready to give up. Joining the KCM Facebook group and following the experiences of pre and post-op patients gave me the confidence to opt for KCM. The level of care from the Bariatric team and the support received both before and after the surgery were impeccable. The team’s professionalism, language proficiency, and attentiveness made me feel well looked after even though I traveled solo. Following my operation on 10th June, I have shed nearly 35 Kgs. Despite the challenges of meal preparation and adapting to my changing stomach capacity, every kilo lost is rewarding. Critics of ‘medical tourism’ should reconsider after witnessing the excellence of centres like KCM. A big thank you to KCM and the supportive Facebook Group for making me feel part of a community!
