100 Positive Pregnancy Result First Time

Review of Nadezhda Fertility Clinic by Ecstatically Pregnant. Treatment date: over 12 months

Hello, I am a female living in the UK, in Northern Ireland. I am in a same-sex partnership and in my late thirties. I wanted a child before I was too old to try, and I obviously needed treatment with donor sperm. With my partner’s full support, I explored treatment prices in the UK, but they were too expensive, so I decided to look abroad. Having visited Bulgaria and Sofia previously, I reached out to the Nadezhda clinic in Sofia, Bulgaria through Medspa. I quickly received a response from Iva, who works for Medspa and is Bulgarian but speaks fluent English. Iva was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and providing ample information. Due to my age, I considered IVF but opted for IUI treatment with hormone stimulation due to my good health. I chose a donor and scheduled time off work for the treatment, which lasted approximately 10 days, 3 or 4 if not stimulated. We flew from Dublin to Bulgaria with assistance from Iva, who also helped us find a suitable hotel near the clinic. Upon arrival, Julia, Iva’s colleague, greeted us and ensured we were settled. Throughout our clinic visits, we were accompanied by Iva, Julia, or Sissi – all lovely ladies proficient in English, who collectively manage Medspa. I met Dr. Stamenov, the fertility specialist, who was friendly and spoke fluent English. The clinic, while clean and popular, is rated 4 out of 5 stars as Dr. Stamenov will soon relocate to a larger, more modern private clinic. I was closely monitored, underwent insemination after 6 days, and tested positive for pregnancy two weeks later on my first attempt. Dr. Stamenov’s reputation precedes him, and I now understand why; he excels in his field. What began with hope in Bulgaria culminated in a successful pregnancy and the gift of new friendships with Iva, Sissi, Julia, and Dr. Stamenov, to whom I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend this experience.
