Free Spirit Travel for Treatment insurance: Not all travel insurance policies are the same!

9-Nov-2010

The travel insurance solution for people travelling abroad for cosmetic, dental, elective or spa treatment

Not all travel insurance policies are the same!

If you are planning to travel abroad for cosmetic surgery, dental, elective or spa procedures, please check your travel insurance to make sure you are fully covered.

Standard travel insurance policies will exclude cover if you are travelling abroad specifically for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment which means you will be liable for any additional costs incurred, such as additional travel/accommodation costs or medical expenses in the event of complications arising.

Also, if you make a claim which is not related to your treatment, such as for baggage loss, airport delays, etc. and your insurance company discovers that you were travelling to have treatment, they may refuse to pay out on any claims.

The Solution

Travel insurance specialists P J Hayman & Company Ltd have designed FREE SPIRIT Travel for Treatment - a specialist travel insurance policy exclusively for people travelling abroad for medical procedures.
