The Czech Republic has developed its tourism industry immensely over the last few years, welcoming hoards of tourists and patients seeking treatment abroad.
A growing number of people are choosing the nation for cosmetic surgery, thanks to the country's high standard of medical treatment, attractive prices, and airports served by several budget airlines.
Sona Chatwin decided to abandon the idea of treatment in the UK and chose Prague for her rhinoplasty (nose job) procedure.
"I travelled to the Czech Republic and went to a senior highly skilled plastic surgeon," she revealed.
"This would have cost me around three to four times as much in the UK as I paid in Prague. He did a great job and was very empathetic."
Patients choosing the Czech Republic for treatment abroad can hope to save up to 60 per cent of their treatment costs.
Nose reshaping at a city clinic costs £1,610, which includes one night's stay in the clinic, compared to between £3,000 and £4,000 for the same treatment in the UK.
