Infertility treatment in Czech Republic

The team at Repromeda clinic are highly experienced and have been trained at the renowned School of Assisted Reproduction in Brno, where the first successful ‘test-tube’ child was created in 1982. They regularly treat international patients, and provide the following services:

  • In-vitro-fertilisation (IVF) – from £2000 - IVF treatment at Repromeda is a 6 stage process that is performed in their state of the art facilities. Couples will receive a fully personalised initial consultation that will outline important information for the consultant, and any particular needs of the patient. This is followed by an examination of the couple and a hormonal stimulation oocyte pick up. Then, depending on the patient’s requirements, the clinic will perform the necessary methods of insemination, and an embryo transfer. Finally the embryos are frozen for future use.
  • Cycle with donation – from £4250 – Repromeda clinic has a long tradition of performing this treatment and has great success rates when providing it. This treatment uses donor eggs for patients where pregnancy cannot be achieved through their own eggs.
  • Pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) – from £4000 – This is performed during IVF treatment and allows the choice of a perspective embryo, with the correct number of chromosomes to be transferred to the patient’s uterus.
  • Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) – from £5200 – This is a process that allows “healthy” embryos without a specific genetic load to be transferred to the patient’s uterus. The procedure is performed with IVF treatment.
  • Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) – from £350 – This is a widely used micromanipulation technique, that complements IVF, in which one sperm is actively transferred to fertilise an egg.
  • Pre-selected intracytoplasmic sperm injection (PICSI) – from £175 – PICSI is a modification of ICSI associated with the selection of ‘optimal’ sperm. This method includes binding a mature sperm into a specially treated surface of a petri-dish to which gel with hyaluronan is applied.
