What is fetal stem cell therapy?

Fetal stem cells are non-specialised cells whose ability to differentiate into any other cell type in the body to form new organs and tissues makes them perfect material for combating a wide variety of human diseases. During a fetal stem cell treatment, a suspension of the progenitor cells that form the main tissue types is administered intravenously in a simple, minimally invasive procedure. Unlike stem cells of other origin, for example from bone marrow or cord blood, fetal stem cells are not associated with any histocompatibility problems and the treatment is safe and well tolerated.

Fetal stem cells not only replace lost or damaged cells, they also produce vital biological agents such as tissue growth and proliferation factors, and hormones. Observed therapeutic effects of fetal stem cell therapy are:

  • Improvement in mental and physical activities, cognition, sleep and appetite; stabilisation and improvement in mood; positive changes in attention and memory
  • Normalisation of blood counts, including red and white blood cells
  • Restoration of the immune system
  • Stimulation of the ability of organs and tissues to repair themselves; restoration of impaired metabolism; slowing of the ageing process and a marked ‘functional rejuvenation’
  • Normalisation of homeostasis – maintenance of the constant internal environment as a whole, and carbohydrate, lipid, water and electrolyte metabolism in particular
  • Promising results in the treatment of neurological disease – fetal stem cells are the only source of neuroectodermal stem cells of natural origin (neuronal precursors), making them the most effective treatment for neurological conditions compared to other types of stem cells
