Dr Moosa Kazim, FACS, FRCS (C) - Founder of Orthosports

After over a decade of practising orthopaedic surgery in North America at the highest level, Dr Kazim moved to Dubai in 1996 and in 2002 founded Orthosports Medical Center.

Dr Kazim underwent training by two of the top orthopaedic sports medicine specialists in North America, Dr Peter Fowler (world renowned specialist in sports injuries of the knee) and Dr Richard Hawkins (world renowned specialist in shoulder conditions). He has remained active in education, lecturing, contributing to academic literature, and practices all aspects of orthopaedic and sports therapy/surgery and sports therapy using unique techniques such as:

• Large and small joint arthroscopy for a variety of surgeries - including ACL knee reconstruction and specialised procedures on articular cartilage.
• Specialised shoulder surgery - including arthroscopy, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, and shoulder arthroplasty (joint replacement).
