The Antalya Public Hospitals Union is a union of one training and research hospital, 13 state hospitals and 3 oral medicine and dental health centres in the Antalya province of Turkey.

Opened in 2007 by the Turkish Ministry of Health, Antalya Training and Research Hospital is 950-bed state-of-the-art hospital offering a full range of modern healthcare services including:

• Cardiology - angiography, angioplasty, stenting, TAVI, cardiac pacemaker implantation, 2D and 3D echocardiography and mitral valve valvuloplasty
• Cardiovascular surgery - coronary bypass, aortic aneurysm surgery, heart valve surgery, vascular and vein surgery and paediatric cardiac surgery
• General surgery - obesity surgery, gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery and thyroid surgery
• Brain and spinal surgery - surgery for brain and spinal tumours, hydrocephalus, spinal disc hernias, brain and skull malformations and epilepsy
• Orthopaedic and trauma surgery - knee arthroscopy, cruciate ligament surgery, knee and hip replacement, shoulder arthroscopy, scoliosis surgery and fracture surgery

Antalya Atatürk State Hospital

Serik State Hospital

Getting treatment

The costs of healthcare at Antalya Public Hospitals Union are regulated by the Turkish Government and are fair, transparent and consistent across the whole hospital group.

Affordable all-inclusive packages for interventional and surgical procedures are available that cover the cost of the operation or intervention, the anaesthetics (except spinal and epidural), medications (except blood products and chemotherapeutics), laboratory tests and 15 days inpatient care. In the unlikely event of an unforeseen medical problem, extra charges may be incurred.
