Urology

Based at the Instituto Médico Urológico, Dr Estaban González de Chaves Fernández is an experienced urologist with a specialist interest in screening programmes for the early detection of urological cancer, andrologic surgery (vasectomy, penile prosthesis, Peyronie’s disease), male genital plastic surgery and endoscopic surgery of the prostate. The urology service covers four main areas: urinary incontinence, andrology, general urology and laser surgery.

Gynaecology

A fourth generation Tenerife doctor, Dr Francisco Montes de Oca was the first specialist in Spain to be certified by the Institute of Vaginal Rejuvenation with Laser in Los Angeles and to perform cosmetic surgical vaginal rejuvenation techniques. Trained in UK and based at Ginefem Clinic, he also specialises in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, pelvic floor surgery, gynaecological oncology surgery and selective high-resolution and 4D ultrasound.
