Head Surgeon – Dr. F.M.C. van den Eeden

Dr. F.M.C. van den Eeden, MD, PhD, qualified as a doctor in 1979 in Ghent, Belgium. During his training as an orthopaedic surgeon he specialised in spinal and hip deficits. In 1985 he received his PhD at the University of Bonn, Germany. He has since worked as an orthopaedic surgeon in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

In 2012 he founded Van den Eeden Hip Clinic, a specialised clinic for hip replacement surgery. Van den Eeden Hip Clinic is highly specialised in performing the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for total hip replacement.

Dr. F.M.C. van den Eeden, MD, PhD, is member of the Belgian Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology (BVOT), the Belgian Hip Society (BHS), the Dutch Orthopedic Association (NOV) and the European Hip Society (EHS).
