Tahe Fertilidad in Murcia, Spain, was established as a modern, state-of-the-art fertility centre and to create a welcoming, intimate and pleasant environment. At Tahe Fertilidad architecture and design combine to make the main site of over 700 square metres a peaceful and pleasant place. The centre includes a patient attention area, reception, and individual waiting rooms. There is a consultancy area, vaginal and abdominal ecography units, a high resolution 3D and 4D/Doppler, two theatres, patient rooms, laboratories for in vitro fertilisation, andrology and bio-freezing, special rooms for semen collection, a library, and more. All rooms are equipped with the most advanced technology, which provide fertility treatment techniques to guarantee the highest success rates.

The multidisciplinary team maintains on-going communication through daily clinical meetings in which the patients clinical history is discussed and studied. At Tahe Fertilidad they would like to underline that they maintain communication with the gynaecologists who refer their patients for fertility treatment, and keep them up to date with their progress for when they return to them once pregnancy has been successful.

Over 50% of patients at Tahe Fertilidad come from other European countries. With assisted reproduction it is not easy to schedule a treatment, as every patient responds differently to ovarian stimulation. They are aware of these difficulties, and have created an International Department, to help with any need you may have when organising your stay in Spain (reserving flights, hotels, cars, or tourist activities). Their staff speak several languages: English, German, Italian, French and of course Spanish.

Egg donation: one donor - one receptor

The egg donation policy at Tahe Fertilidad consists in allocating the most appropriate donor to the receptor, considering blood group and physical characteristics. They synchronise both donor and receptor treatments and they perform all treatments in order to ensure the donation of fresh eggs (ie not frozen).

They have a big pool of donors and their criteria to chose them are quite strict selecting only women under 30 and, as well as the usual legal and medical requirements, they screen all donors for cystic fibrosis and X fragile syndrome. The donors also undergo a very strict psychological test.
