The team at the IVF clinic

Dr Joe Davis was born in Virginia and trained and practiced as a Reproductive Endocrinologist in New York City and the Midwest. Over the past 8 years, he witnessed his patient’s fertility struggles and throughout their journeys he heard a common theme. Nearly all patients expressed feelings of stress and anxiety, often due to a lack of success in achieving pregnancy, and the financial burdens associated with fertility treatments. Joe left New York to start Cayman Fertility Centre in order to offer patients the same high-quality fertility care that they would receive in the United States, but in a peaceful and tranquil Caribbean setting. As a promoter of holistic medicine, he incorporated acupuncture, nutrition and wellness into high tech fertility care. The modern hospitals and cutting-edge technology of Grand Cayman made it a perfect place to bring advanced fertility care to paradise.

Dawn M. Davidson is from the Philadelphia area in the United States. Her area of Specialty is Women’s Health. While working the Antepartum unit, she became interested in the Infertility/IVF process. Dawn started working in IVF in 1993. Most recently, she has worked at Abington Reproductive Medicine and Penn Fertility Care. She has performed daily clinical operations ranging from drawing blood, sperm preparation, intra uterine insemination and assisting with egg retrieval and embryo transfer. Dawn has brought many years of clinical experience and innovative ideas for the various clinics she has worked with and her goal is to have Cayman Fertility Center be known as a center that truly cares for the patient as an individual.

Katerina Arvaniti is the centre’s Laboratory Director. Originally from Athens, Katerina has worked with Dr Th. Mantzavinos, a pioneer for IVF in Greece. Having worked in reproduction for 25 years, Katerina has been at the clinic since 2014.

Ralph Hosford has been Cayman Fertility Centre’s Marketing Director since 2002. His goal is to keep communication between the medical team and the patients clear, helping patients understand their conditions and treatments.

Cayman Fertility Centre is a leading clinic for reproductive immunology in IVF, and offers an Immunology Programme. The programme screens patients for common immunology problems such as antibodies, thrombophilia, NK cells, Th1 cells and Th2 cells, before they start their reproductive treatment. The result of the panels is analysed and interpreted in order to choose the best course of action for the patient. The fertility clinic in Grand Cayman has managed to treat hundreds of patients using this method, as it allows the doctor to target the specific fertility issue.

Endometrial Receptivity Assay (ERA), endometrium being the tissue lining the uterus, assesses the receptivity of the tissue which helps the doctor to create a personalized treatment plan. Cayman Fertility Centre offers this test at an economical price.

Depending on whether you are male or female, your pre-cycle testing may also include:

• Blood tests
• Ultrasound scans
• Semen analysis
• Semen production

These tests are carried out in order to reduce risks during your assisted fertility treatment and to personalize your care to promote the best outcome.
