The Barraquer Eye Centre is a private eye clinic in Spain, founded in 1941. The centre is devoted to research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of ocular diseases, offering assistance to patients from all over the world. Professor Joaqun Barraquer, surgeon and manager, structured his team of 30 ophthalmologists in different specialities, covering all of the ophthalmology fields.

To support the Ophthalmology team, the Centre has physicians who are specialised in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetology, ENT, Dentistry, Biology and Clinical Analysis. It also has an Anaesthesiology team specialised in anaesthesia for ophthalmic surgery.
