Travelling to Barbados
Being an Island, you are most likely to visit Barbados via airplane. Barbados is served by many well known carriers such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada and Americal Airlines. Approximate flight times to Barbados are 5 hours from New York, 3 hours from Miami and 7.5 hours from London.
The international airport is called Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) and it is located in the south of the island, just 8 miles away from the island's capital Bridgetown.
