Compare the cost of hepatitis a + typhoid vaccination abroad
Hepatyrix is a combination vaccine against hepatitis A and typhoid. It contains a combination of inactivated hepatitis A virus and fragments of inactivated Salmonella typhi bacteria (the bacteria that cause typhoid). The vaccine works by stimulating the body's immune response to typhoid bacteria and the hepatitis A virus, without actually causing these diseases. When the body is exposed to foreign organisms such as bacteria and viruses, the immune system produces antibodies against them. These antibodies help the immune system to recognise and kill the foreign organisms.
