However, after the surgery, I still felt the prolapse, even though my doctor insisted that it wasn’t the case. He told me that the next step would be to remove my uterus. I was devastated because I had a hard time accepting my condition, and the thought of removing my uterus was very upsetting. During this time, my condition worsened, and I found it difficult to walk, carry things, or do housework. I started restricting myself from everything. Despite all this, I continued to believe that there was a solution. I kept reading online about uterine prolapse and, by chance, found Dr. Alpaslan Çalışkan’s website. I read the comments multiple times over the course of a year, watched his interviews, and read his biography. This gave me hope, so I decided to call him. After the negative experience with my first surgery, I was very skeptical. At first, Dr. Alpaslan didn’t answer, but when he called me back later, it felt like a miracle. He listened to my complaints and explained that his surgical method was different and that he guaranteed a 98-99% anatomical correction. He spoke in a way that I could easily understand. Whenever I had doubts or questions, Dr. Alpaslan answered them patiently. I scheduled my surgery and traveled to Denizli. I was very anxious when I arrived at the hospital, even afraid of the examination. Since I had come from out of town, I had the surgery the next day. About 20 days after the operation, my pain started to subside. Even though I had many internal stitches and two external ones, I was able to take showers comfortably. When I checked myself, there was no longer any prolapse. Words can’t describe how happy I am. I regained my confidence, and my mental health improved. Thank you, Dr. Alpaslan.
