Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation

Review of Evexia Rehabilitation Center by Mohamed. Treatment date: over 12 months

I have incomplete tetraplegia (ASIA D) and before coming to the Evexia center, I had problems walking, carrying out daily activities, and with small muscle movements of the upper limbs. I found out about the center while searching for electronic systems – like Bioness FES equipment – to aid in walking. The center’s informative site revealed their use of such systems in neurorehabilitation. Their well-organized special departments and expert care for patients impressed me. The International Patient Department efficiently guided me through the admission protocol, leading me to decide to visit for three to four days to observe the treatment process. I was impressed by the professionalism, helpfulness, and experience displayed by the personnel, unlike my concerns from previous center visits in Germany, Egypt, and Ukraine. I had complete confidence in Doctor Stefas’ expertise; his constant supervision and attentive follow-up were reassuring. The therapy personnel were supportive and friendly, contributing significantly to the social aspect of my rehabilitation. I highly recommend this center to patients with similar diagnoses due to its suitable infrastructure, cutting-edge equipment, and effective protocol adaptation based on the patient’s condition. We look forward to returning to the center for a longer stay once we obtain a visa.
