I began looking for hair transplants in the UK. I was really reluctant to go out and spend over £5000 for the treatment. I then heard through a friend who had traveled abroad for cosmetic surgery how much cheaper it was. As soon as I started looking online for hair transplant surgeries abroad, Hair Palace was the first to catch my attention. I couldn’t believe the price difference compared to the same treatment in the UK, and the reviews were generally very good. I appreciated it was a bigger risk going abroad, but it was one I was definitely willing to take. I mainly dealt with Bettina through email, and she was brilliant. Any questions I had before going out, she would get back to me within no time. From first making inquiries in June, I flew out at the start of July for my treatment. I flew from Luton and managed to get return flights for £90. I had 4000 hairs transplanted over 2 days (£2500). The whole trip was completely stress-free. I had taxis waiting to take me to and from the airport. The accommodation was good. The clinic itself is faultless; from the moment you arrive, you are immediately put at ease. I was quite nervous before like most people, but there really is no need to be. It’s completely painless. The first two or three injections sting a bit, but that’s it. There are plenty of films to watch and help you relax so you barely notice what the surgeons are doing. The food was nice; I was surprised by the choice available. Once the transplant had been done, I was given all the aftercare information. I found this very thorough, but I’m glad I stuck to it all now. Any queries I had once back home, they were always quick to reply. I held off writing a review until now because as good as the place was and as happy as I was with everything, I could only really judge the whole treatment by its results – which do take time. I am now 5 months on from the treatment, and I can’t believe the results! They’re brilliant. I can’t believe I spent so long contemplating having a hair transplant; now I can see the results. If you’re thinking of having the treatment, I really can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you.
