I had implants put in a long time ago when I was very self-critical and not very confident about my appearance. I was so sure that this would solve my confidence issues that I hardly did any research, and to cut a very long story short, ended up being very poorly advised, misinformed, with implants far too big for my frame. I stayed this big for many years because money to have a correction was always a huge issue for me. I saved for a long time, and by the time I had saved about half I needed for the operation in the UK, I developed a capsular contracture. I needed to find someone who could perform the treatment at less than the UK price, but this time I made sure I did my research properly. I spent hours researching surgeons and reading reviews. Time and time again, I kept reading great reviews for Dr. Oelbrandt at the Singleberg Clinic in Brussels. I tried to find some bad reviews for him but couldn’t find any, and all the reviews pointed him out not only to be a fantastic surgeon but also approachable, friendly, and straightforward. I certainly wanted someone to be straightforward and honest. I really wanted to know what was achievable, and I also needed to know a price upfront. I booked to see him in London for my consultation; there were many weekends to choose from, and I was absolutely delighted to know it was him I was going to meet and have my consultation with, and not a representative like the first operation I had. I was warmly greeted by Tahira at my consultation and made to feel at ease by her warm and friendly chatter. I was also seen very promptly by Dr. Oelbrandt. He was indeed very friendly, and I didn’t feel a little bit nervous at all. What I most liked about him is that he was straight to the point.
