I had 19 porcelain crowns fitted (the 20th tooth went missing between gums). The process involved grinding my teeth to pegs. In total, there were 6 appointments; two 4-hour sessions to grind the teeth down on consecutive days, treating the upper and lower jaw separately. A temporary model was placed on my teeth while the porcelain crowns were being crafted. Three days later, the crowns were fitted.
