My daughter is 2.5 years old and she has inborn cerebral palsy (CP), which affects her speech, gait, and cognitive abilities. We were on holiday in Halkidiki, Greece, when we learned about the possibility of receiving treatment for children with Cerebral Palsy at Evexia Center. We were impressed by the feedback we received about the center and the treatment plan they provided us with during our initial communication. Consequently, we decided to pursue treatment there. My daughter quickly adapted to the treatment plan. From the first week, she engaged well with the physical, speech, and occupational therapists. They tailored the program to suit her needs and moods, offering me continuous support and assistance. Overall, I believe the doctors’ and therapists’ work was exceptional. We surpassed our initial expectations, achieving more than we had envisioned upon arriving. The most noticeable improvements were in her speech and cognitive abilities. She displayed better speech articulation and comprehension of her surroundings. Additionally, there were marked enhancements in her physical condition; she began using her left hand more, something she previously could not do, and improved her walking pattern. At the center, she experienced an innovative rehabilitation method—functional electrical stimulation for gait training, which she greatly enjoyed. I witnessed firsthand the improvement in her gait pattern! After a month of training, she could walk in a straight line! I appreciated everything about the center, from the professional staff to the welcoming environment, and we plan to return in June. I wholeheartedly recommend Evexia Rehabilitation Center to parents seeking suitable rehabilitation treatment for children under 5 years.
