Wheelchair Users Treatment Therapy

Review of Evexia Rehabilitation Center by Naila. Treatment date: over 12 months

I suffer from Myopathy (Erb type) and I am from Kazakhstan. Five years ago, I started experiencing severe muscle weakness. Now, at 40, I use a wheelchair. I consider myself a strong person. I try to prevent the consequences of my disease with daily exercise. Periodically, I visit special centers for professional treatment. I am outgoing, love traveling, and meeting new people. This led me to choose Greece and the Evexia Centre. Compared to other accessible places abroad, the coordinators’ prompt replies and handling of my case impressed me. The initial examination was thorough, setting clear treatment goals tailored to my needs. The availability of electronic wheelchairs for rent and freedom to explore the centre’s gardens and nearby city delighted me. Overall, the 3-week stay proved beneficial for me. Unfortunately, Kazakhstan lacks such wheelchair-accessible centers offering specialized treatment.
