Review of IVF Zlin by Sycamor. Treatment date: over 12 months
We are from the UK and decided, after two failed cycles (BFN and miscarriage), to look for a European clinic for further treatment. This was due to the cost of treatment, availability of donors, and the preference for fresh embryos. I found Zlin on the internet and emailed their coordinator with many questions, all of which were promptly answered. Communication was great, and any queries regarding the protocol were addressed via email. The staff’s English was good, and during our clinic visit, we had ample time with the doctors and were encouraged to ask questions. The clinic was very modern and clean, and the staff members were professional. The procedure was easy and straightforward. Our first cycle resulted in a chemical pregnancy. During that visit, we had frozen semen, and for the second cycle, I returned by myself, resulting in the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Donor anonymity is protected under Czech law, so only non-identifying information is available, but they do a good job matching physical characteristics, etc. They guarantee two embryos at the blastocyst stage for transfer and have reserve donors available. Traveling was easier than I imagined; the clinic arranged my collection at the airport, and I stayed at a local hotel. It seems the clinic has recently opened an onsite hotel. We are looking forward to returning in the new year to try for a sibling. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic for donor egg IVF.
