It took me over a year of writing emails to various dental practices all over the world before I finally decided to go ahead and have my work done with the dental specialists. My first point of call was Dr Sarika who answered all my questions with prompt efficiency. I had an x-ray taken in the UK and sent that to Dr Sharath at a surgery in Hyderabad. Dr Sharath went into great detail about what work I needed and the cost. Not once was I pressured or felt any pressure into going to India. I chose this company purely because I could not find one bad review about them on Google. Dr Venkat (the owner) is a renowned implantologist, and the appeal of having implants and crowns completed in less than 11 days was something that sold me in the end. The dental specialists sorted my hotel (Radisson Blu) at a discounted rate to booking direct, which also included breakfast each day, and also took care of all my transfers to and from the hotel and daily trips to the surgery. My first day was spent having further X-rays and investigations and then a detailed talk with Dr Ruheena Khan about the procedures I would have on what day. Each doctor at the surgery is a specialist in their field. I had three doctors do my work who were all very polite, patient, and professional with me as I was extremely afraid of the dentist. Dr Ankitha took care of my root canals on day one; she took the edge off being scared with her lovely patient nature. She is the best dentist I have ever had in my life. Dr Venkat is a legend; he took care of my implants, very nice manner, patient, and caring. Dr Kamal took care of crowns or new teeth, as I like to call them. This man is the closest thing to an artist I’ve ever seen in my life; he took so much time checking and double-checking that my new implants were perfect. Dr Sharath, in my opinion, is the jewel in the crown of the dental specialists. He was constantly on the phone daily checking that I was okay and happy. He was my point of call 24 hours a day if I needed anything. All in all, I am very happy with the work I have had done at the surgery. To sit and watch all the staff interact with each other daily is like watching a family; you can tell each and every member of the team is passionate about what they do. If I could offer advice to anyone thinking about having dental work done in India, then I can save you lots of time as I did a lot of research, and this is the place you need to be. Thank you to everyone at the dental specialists for giving me a new lease of life, which will now be full of smiles.
