We have recently returned from beautiful Prague following our treatment of fresh egg donation with donor sperm. We finally decided on the route of donor following many years of over twenty treatments, including IUI and ICSI. The cost, stress, and constant failures, coupled with the fact we were not getting any younger, made us look into our options. From the word go, Zdenek has been fabulous. He was extremely prompt at answering any queries and guided us through the whole procedure effortlessly. I had my initial consult with Dr. Alexander over the phone, and he and Zdenek kept in touch regularly until our arrival in Prague. Zdenek had organized everything for us – we were met at the airport by Jan (John), and he took us to our apartment. We were given a mobile phone to keep in touch, as well as some maps and tourist guides. He also took us to each visit at the clinic and back to the airport when we left. He was great, and it really took the pressure off. During our stay in Prague, we were kept fully informed of our developing embryo’s progress by either Zdenek or Dr. Alexander, and the procedure was carried out by Dr. Polokova (not sure if I have spelled that correctly). However, the service was fantastic – extremely professional, and Zdenek was brilliant – he was on hand at the clinic to translate when needed. Having gone through many treatments in the past, this experience was much less stressful. We were also able to explore the very beautiful Prague. It’s too early at the moment to know if this treatment has been successful (here’s hoping) – either way, though, we will be back to Prague!
