I had never undergone any form of operation in my life, apart from having two wisdom teeth removed. I was slightly daunted by the prospect of Otoplasty for my large ears. Within 3 hours of arriving at the clinic and being welcomed by the delightful receptionist and administrator, I was undergoing my otoplasty procedure. However, I never felt rushed; I completed a psychological test beforehand. I then received a comprehensive explanation of any risks from the surgeon, Dr Marta, who also detailed the operation itself, which fascinated me. The receptionist administrator then guided me through my pre-operative cleaning routine. Afterward, I proceeded to the theatre.
